Deion Sanders had the opportunity to address the potentially serious concern surrounding Colorado football following an offensive loss to Texas Tech. Instead, the Buffaloes head coach posed the situation, asked the premise about the relationship and suggested little reason to investigate.

The controversy started about two weeks ago when a sheet containing what appeared to be an opening script for electronic games surfaced. Initially dismissed as potentially fake, the leak gained credibility after videos emerged showing the play on the paper along with footage of Texas Tech executing matching plays during the game.

During Tuesday’s media availability, Sanders was asked about the situation. He immediately challenged the Leak system.

“The whole playbook?” Sanders said. He made it clear that Colorado uses weekly writers rather than a single playbook for opponents. Sanders also showed that Colorado had scored on his door as evidence that Leak did not commit the crime. However, that ignores an important fact: the start of the drive was the Buffaloes’ only scoring possession against Texas Tech.

When asked if anyone had planned to explore responsible training, Sander dismissed the idea.
