UFC President Dana White shared his reaction to what happened to veteran bantamweight fighter Raoni Barcelos at UFC Vegas 121 .
In the fifth round of his war with Raul Rosas Jr. in the main event of UFC Vegas 121, Barcelos suffered a medical emergency and lost the fight via TKO.

It was a scary incident, and some thought that Barcelos could be seriously injured, but fortunately, it appears that he is going to be fine.

Speaking to the media following UFC Vegas 121, Alba shared his reaction to what happened to Barcelo in his fight with Rosas.
“Thank God he’s doing well. He’s walking around, he’s talking,” White said.
“It’s right in line with everything we always talk about and what we do. All the previous doctors have been calmed down three times; everything is good. There were six doctors here at night, three ambulances; the right trauma was removed, not to the valley (Hospital Medical Center). Everything was done correctly, and the outcome is good.”

Dana White Comments on Raoni Barcelos Power Fighting Again
Asked if Barcelos could fight again in the UFC, White said he’s not even thinking about it right now.
“You don’t even think about it. Who gives a (expletive) as long as the kid is OK,” White said.
At the age of 39, Barcelos is probably in the last stage of his MMA career, although he looked fantastic against Barcelos before the scary finish.
Since he suffered health issues during the fight, fans do not expect Barcelos to return to the cage anytime soon, although the fighter himself said that he will pursue the goal of becoming a UFC champion one day.

We have to wait and see how his medical tests go after this scary sanitary emergency UFC Vegas 121, but either way, the result of the fighter is good, as he now seems to be healthy and does not suffer any potential life-threatening medical issue, as initially feared by fans.
