British welterweight contender Constantin Ursu says he wants a world title shot within the next 12 months.
The 26-year-old, who is also the Commonwealth champion, retained his belts in August with an eighth-round technical knockout win over Ben Vaughan.

The Moldavian-born fighter, who has been based in Plymouth since he was 18, won his Lonsdale belt in March with a points victory over Owen Cooper.
“I want to be in the world next year,” Bear told BBC South West.
“I’ve been offered two IBO world titles to fight Jack Rafferty, and they say nothing,” added Ursu, who has won all 16 of his professional duties.
“But if they change their mind, I’m ready to win this fight.”
Ursu IRCA lined up for the second defense of the British title.
Lonsdale should work hard to defend his belt twice so he can keep it for posterity.

But whoever his next opponent is, he says he’s ready for a better outcome than the fight in late August, when he felt he only showed “20% to 30%” of what he’s capable of.
“I feel like I didn’t get my dopamine for the last fight,” he said.
“I felt like I didn’t go the way I needed to in this fight, I’m not really happy with the last result.
So good luck to the other opponent, because I will give everything in the next fight.
“But it’s definitely not my best work, and it’s not even close to 50%, 60% of what I have in me.”
