West Point Thoroughbreds Counting Stars, winner of back-to-back Grade 1 stakes in 3 years filling the division this spring and summer, looks to strengthen his championship credentials when he takes on four older daughters and mares in Sunday’s $650,000 Juddmonte Spinster (G1) race.
The Juddmonte Spinster, who also drew the 2024 champion 2-year-old filly Immersive and a fully-subscribed G1 winner, is one of three stakes in the final 25-day Star Fall weekend. Fall of the Stars Volutpat. The tournament kicks off the 17th Fall Meet with three stakes Friday and five stakes Saturday.

The race for the $36,400,000 Castle & Key Bourbon (G2) drew a field of 11. The field, led by Repole Stable and St. Elias Stables’ Bold Leader, has been beaten in two narrow starts with the Anticipation (G3) in its most recent outing.
The ninth running of the $350,000 Indiana Summer (G3) offered at Keeneland Select drew a field of thirty. The field is led by undefeated Forest Island, winner of Saratoga’s Skidmore last season.
