Däbritz and Schröder netted in Real Madrid’s win
Real Madrid got off to a perfect start in the clash against Real Sociedad. Lineth Beerenstein struck in his own end to score the first goal coming from Wolfsburg. However, Belgium’s international efforts soon saw themselves rebuffed by Cecilia Marcos.
With the race at an all-time low, Marcus showed great composure to take second within five minutes of the restart. Four-year-old Maële Lakrar with a clever first touch and calmly shot it past Merle Frohms with his second. In an attempt to find an answer, Pau Quesada turned to his bench, introducing Däbritz and Schröder as part of a triple change. He proved to be a master striker as Däbritz turned the game in favor of the visitors with a live fire. First, the midfielder was hit from close range, then the free kick hit the woodwork. Däbritz then placed a left-footed shot at the near post by Schröder.
Despite a sparkling turnaround, Real Madrid briefly thought they had two points within their grasp when Paula Fernandez smashed home a penalty after replays showed Frohms had sneaked off his line before saving the first spot-kick. But Schröder soon proved why Real Madrid replaced him in the summer window, with a wide arm to fire at all three points on the side. The Sweden international met a high cross with a header that eluded the unmoved goalkeeper, before Dabritz’s cross squared to the net for a simple finish for the second goal.

Classroom Club will succeed in a five-goal thriller
An exciting contest in Lezama produced two goals within the opening six minutes. Athletic Club’s Ane Azkona put his side ahead within the first minute, only to have his effort quickly cleared by a shot from the box by Fiamma. The Atlético Madrid attacker controlled the ball loosely as Atlético tried to clear his lines from a corner and he controlled it to shoot everyone in the box before lowering it into the waiting net. As the half ticked past the 30-minute mark, Athletic’s slick and incisive move for Sara Ortega restored a narrow lead.
The opening 25 minutes of the second were dominated by red cards rather than goals. Atleti Luany received a second yellow for a reckless challenge before Clara Pinedo picked up his second book for a late tackle. Classrooms instead of the inconvenience behind them to increase the utility through Ane Campos. Within 60 seconds of his arrival on the pitch, the striker headed the ball in front after it was deflected by Ortega’s cut-back.

Gabi Nunes reduced the deficit in the closing stages, but it proved too little too late for the visitors. While the Atleti fell to their third defeat of the season, the Athletics celebrated their first head-to-head victory since April 2014.
Baha creates history
