Corpus Christi Hooks News Release
The Corpus Christi Hooks’ Jennifer Bardales has been named the 2026 Texas League Athletic Trainer of the Year by the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS).
Bardales, bound for the Arizona Fall League, is in her third season with the Hooks and her sixth with the Houston Astros.
The Houston native won Florida Complex League Athletic Trainer of the Year honors by PBATS in 2022.
The PBATS Minor League Baseball awards are given annually to one member of each of the 14 leagues in Minor League Baseball. Two additional awards are given to the Minor League Coordinator and Latin American Coordinator of the Year.
In addition, both the Minor League Athletic Trainer of the Year and the Minor League Staff of the Year honors will be presented at this year’s MLB Winter Meetings in San Diego, CA.
