Brewers win 1st streak since 1982, Dodgers snap three-peat dream & Rangers lead ALCS 2-1

The Milwaukee Brewers are going to the World Series for the first time since 1982, and they’re out to get revenge. When they were swept in the NLCS last season, they returned the favor to the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers and are now just four away from their first-ever championship in team history.

On this episode of Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman get an exciting conclusion to the series that saw the Brew Crew take care of business in just four games. Behind a strong pitching staff and a whole bunch of gamers, as manager Pat Murphy called them, she shocked the baseball world by handling the Dodgers and not quite making the next series. They also discuss where things went wrong for the Dodgers, whether Tarik Skubal will return and what the offseason could hold for Shohei Ohtani.

Later in the show, Jake and Jordan take a look at the current situation in the ALCS, where the Cleveland Cavaliers lead the Tampa Bay Rays two games to one following Petey Halpin’s heroics. Then preview Game 4 and discuss whether the Rays will even turn things up as the Brewers look for a winner.
