Two years after their first fight, Joshua Buatsi and Willy Hutchinson will meet in a rematch, which is expected to be one of the domestic clashes of the year.
In 2024, Buatsi overcame his British rival in a subcard loss to Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois, dropping Hutchinson twice and taking the decision – when Hutchinson landed a point on the way.

Since then both champions have fought twice, with Scotland’s Hutchinson going 2-0 and Buatsi going 1-1. The Londoner suffered his first professional loss when he was pinned in a fight of the year contender by Callum Smith, but went on to win by narrow decision against Zach Parker.
Now Buatsi, 33, and Hutchinson, 28, are set to square off again, with the odds thought to equalize the fight at 50-50. And up to the stakes, the vacant WBC lightweight title will be on the line this time.
