The Jacksonville Jaguars return to London for Week 5, playing host as the home team against the Philadelphia Eagles. Kickoff is set for 9:30 am ET at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, airing live on NFL Network.

The Eagles are off to a 2-2 start and have generally been underwhelmed this season, with a generally strong run game to begin with. Saquon Barkley is out in Week 5 after suffering a hamstring injury last week, while his backup Tank Bigsby is also out on the IR this week after core muscle surgery. They’re also on the receiving end, as DeVonta Smith is set to miss his second consecutive game. The team also traded OL Cam Jergens this week, while All-Pro tackle Lane Johnson announced his retirement this week.

The Jaguars continue to look hot under coach Liam Coen, and playing in what is essentially a home game across the pond, sportsbooks think the momentum will continue in Jacksonville, rather than touchdown. It’s not just the offense that’s clicking for sixth-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Their defense has also looked good, forcing a turnover on a league-high 21.6% of opposing drives, while allowing a score on just 29.7% of face-offs — the third-lowest rate in the league.

The Philadelphia Eagles offensive line is already troubled and it’s not Week 5. After losing Landon Dickerson earlier in Week 2, the Eagles also lost Lane Johnson to a surprising retirement on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the team voluntarily made another big change to its O-line, trading two-time Pro Bowler Cam Jurgens to the Baltimore Ravens for two snaps. It was an indisputable decision considering the team is still very much in contention and is already on the offensive line.

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman addressed the trade Wednesday, explaining that the team was not looking at Jurgens but was forced to act based on the good prospects coming into the deal, per The Athletic.

“We weren’t looking to move Cam. Obviously, the Ravens were looking for a center… It wasn’t a race for them that we were trying to do. Over the last 24 hours, it got to where we felt like it could be a win for them. It’s clear that the two-year Pro Bowl center and obviously the players we’re using to get us. Maybe to watch Drew do a really nice job of centering the play here.

Roseman said that between the draft picks — a fifth-rounder in 2027 and a second-rounder in 2028 — the added money and the elevation of Drew Kendall to the starting lineup, he felt the Eagles had added four players in the trade.

Roseman added that fans shouldn’t look at the trade as the Eagles’ white flag in 2026. The team is still trying to win this season, according to The Athletic.

In the days following the fall of the Rams, the Eagles saw two significant developments that left observers wondering if the punting continued after the game. On Tuesday, Lane Johnson, a 14-year veteran right tackle and franchise anchor; announced his retirementeffective, immediately. Johnson’s departure means Philadelphia now has a bigger hole to fill on the line — not a position you want to see when your team is already struggling offensively.

But Johnson’s announcement was only a prelude to the big news of the week: On Wednesday, the Eagles Ravens guard/center Cam Jurgens for j a pair of draft beds. When you’re already looking at the significant competition on that side of the ball, it’s hard to justify trading a Pro Bowler for a draft pick as anything other than a concession until those draft picks are fit.

Are the Eagles already hanging on to it in 2026? Read more.
