Koepka Brooks ended his season on a high note at the Alfred Dunhill Championship on Sunday. The 36-year-old was all smiles when he sank a 40-foot eagle putt on the final hole to finish T-6 on the Old Course at St. Andrews, his best finish of the year.
Koepka’s wife, Jena Sims, posted a video on Instagram of her son Crew, watching his father from the balcony overlooking the 18th green as he birdied the final hole. The text, accompanying the video on the screen, read: “Heck way to end the BK season.”
Sims added in the post’s caption: “..and that eagle on the 18th to wrap up the 2025-2026 season.”

Eagle in No. 18 was actually Koepka’s second final round, as he also eagled the ninth hole on Sunday.
While Koepka did not speak to the media after the tournament, his wife appeared to confirm the end of his season on Sunday via social media. The five-time major winner previously called missing the FedExCup Playoffs this year “very painful” and said at the time he needed to “integrate everything.”
Although Koepka said in early August that he planned to be able to play in two FedExCup Fall events, full status on the PGA Tour through his 2028 PGA Championship victory in 2023, so he should not worry about playing in the next two months to keep his card.
Koepa has played in 16 events on the PGA Tour this season and has finished inside the top ten just once. Koepka competed in three events on the DP Tour with the best finish coming in his last appearance at Alfredo Dunhill’s Revenge.
