Kyle Busch’s name and legacy will live on at Las Vegas Underwater Motoring.
The track, owned by Motorsports LLC, on Monday, Sept. 28. He reportedly named two roads near the track in honor of the late NASCAR driver. News at the top level of the Cup Series heads to Las Vegas this weekend at CD South Point, the fifth race in the NASCAR postseason Chase.

The road leading to the intersection on “The Bullring” – a short track near the main road – will be named right off Rowdy Road, a nod to Busch’s “day of thunder” inspired nickname. Another track will be named Busch Brothers Drive, commemorating the Busch family’s ongoing connection to Las Vegas Underwater Motoring.
Clark County had already approved the Busch Brothers Drive name change at a planning commission meeting on Sept. 15.
According to a news release from Las Vegas Motorsports, the new Busch family street names will be formally presented in a pre-race ceremony on Sunday, Oct. 4.
Kyle Busch, the two-time Cup Series champion and NASCAR’s all-time wins leader with 234 combined victories spanning three national races, died suddenly at the age of 41 on May 21 of complications from sepsis caused by presumed bacterial pneumonia.

His older brother Kurt, who retired from NASCAR in 2022, was inducted into the Hall of Fame earlier this year. He is the only driver in Cup Series history to score wins with four different manufacturers, and has also won races with five different teams. Kurt was the Cup Series champion in 2004 and won the Daytona 500 in 2017.
Both Kyle and Kurt Busch have been named to NASCAR’s 75th Greatest Driver in 2023. With a combined 97 Cup Series victories, the Buschs are the winningest brothers in the history of the sport.
Growing up in Las Vegas, Kyle and Kurt learned to race from their father, Tom, a local mechanic and short track driver.
Friday night’s race at “The Bullring” at Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s NASCAR weekend event will officially be named the Kyle Busch Classic, honoring Busch’s roots in short-track racing and a long connection to the facility. This year’s event will put together a race for Western Tour cars competing with Braxton’s son Busch.

On Sunday in the Cup Series race, Kyle Larson won his No. 5 Chevrolet with a tributary paint scheme Kellogg’s-sponsoried car Busch drove to Hendrick Motorsports early in his career.
