Plinio Cruz, the longtime trainer of former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, scored a second round stoppage in his promotional debut for Misfits Boxing on Saturday at the Boxing Arena in London, England.
Cruz is scheduled to face the Misfit heavyweight champion and the man who defeated Andrew Tate in December, Chase DeMoor. However, when an injury forced DeMoor out of the match, DeMoor’s personal trainer, Gary Olive, challenged him.

After one round with the former MMA fighter, Oliva (0-1) took a deep breath. During the opening three minutes, he was caught multiple times at the end of Cruz’s left-handed spear. Thirty seconds into the second stand, after he was captured, he was killed by an accurate arrow. After getting up to beat the count, Cruz (1-0) was cornered, landing two more left hands, forcing Oliva to take a knee.
Oliva didn’t beat the count and Cruz’s hand was lifted shortly after in victory.
Speaking after the fight, Cruz reiterated his intention to fight Demoor.
“You don’t have the skills, you don’t have the rap, you don’t have the mojo,” Cruz said on CHORDA, focused on DeMoor.

“Get over here, bro. I’ll kick your ass.”
Earlier in the night, Misfits co-founder KSI announced that MMA veteran Michael “Venom” Page had signed a multi-year, multi-fight deal with Misfits. One of the faces of the Warriors in their prime, Page was not offered a new contract after going on a 5-1 run with the UFC.
In a recent appearance on “The Ariel Helwani Show,” the page stated that several promotions are surrounding his signature. The search seems to have ended for a new home.
“Any book name, I’m here for it,” Page announced on Saturday.
In the main event of the evening, comedian Daniel O’Reilly – better known as Dapper Laughs – appeared to clearly beat Joey Essex before the fight was declared a split draw.

Essex (1-0-1), a reality television star, could not find the same year that he fought in August 2025, with Numeiro in one of the most impressive of all time. Laughs (1-0-1) a comic author, constantly exasperated Essex with his right hand in four rounds and never allowed his opponent to insist.
Frankly, the 39-37 Essex card makes no sense. Nor were the 38-38 cards handed out in the contest. Burns 40-36 for Ride.

Terrible, terrible, the scorecards apart at 40-36.

Knowing he was going down on the scorecards, Essex threw himself into the final lap only to be cut short. Essex loaded on his shots, reaching multiple opportunities, Laughing bided time and looked for the target. Laughter spilled out in the last minute with Essex, which included several links.
The score is 40-36

Essex walked over another right hander early in the third. He burst forth in reply, and although he threw a stone arrow at Risus, nothing more significant fell to the ground. He laughed and landed another effective outburst a minute later. At the last moment, Essex managed to find a home for the right hook. Essex made a great effort to find something big before the end of the round, but it feels like another round slipped through his fingers.
30-27 He laughs.

Essex body early in the second only to eat more right hands in return. Another big right found the sweet spot for Laughs at the midway point of the round, sending Essex onto his bike, avoiding the action. Essex eventually regained composure, but probably lost the round.
20-18 He laughs.

Essex came forward quickly, with a laughing mouth digging a spur. Laughter looked down at Essex’s stiffened body before coming up with a looping right hand. In the middle of the first, Rigidus landed a right hand. Essex got back into his frame as Rides looked to weave in the opposite direction. The operator, with a round but clean smile, explained the matter.
10-9 He laughs.

40-36 to Ambush is a fierce scorecard.

The fourth and last round of the plot was very good. He came on strong for three minutes as Swarmz again looked for body hair to stop his progress.

Petey Carroll
The third round was mostly done by Swarmz body slamming Ambush, while Ambush punched him in the ribs before the referee separated them.

Petey Carroll
Swarmz drives the action while Ambush laughs behind the guard. Not much happened.
