NLCS Series Preview: Dodgers vs

The two best teams in the National League and the majors are meeting in the NLCS for the second straight season.

However, even though Milwaukee has won more regular season games than LA and has managed a staggering 103 wins this year, this matchup has always felt like a David vs. Goliath story, not an epic between two unequal armies who wanted to go head-to-head. In broad strokes, the ones who build a career for the picture, this is a small market versus the biggest market in the world, a competition that exceeds the limits of US domestic genius, carefully researched and lovingly developed, versus a team of mercenary cobbles, the strength of the infinite pockets and the risk tolerance of the said pocket facility. It is beneficial towards evil, the silent and wonderful journey of the strange verses, with the ambition, the flash, the buzz, confident, and the bright smiling collection of stars, who know themselves to be despised, for the same reason is death, their inevitability.

I will not discuss these stories fully here, partly because the simple stories are useful for capturing the audience, myself included, but also because they have some truth to them. For example, the Brewers released or signed more than half of their rotation and everyday lineup, more than half of their rotation and everyday lineup, and two of their three best relievers, while the Dodgers only have two draft picks playing everyday roles, Will Smith and Andy Page. But if Milwaukee is the best front office in baseball, and most agree with that record, the Dodgers are no less than second or third. Both bands are technically excellent and have very well-oiled and synced performances and performances; Both teams build infinite collections of talent in their farm system. The main difference, of course, is that while Milwaukee builds mostly around their pitchers, the Dodgers tend to use their trade assets.

Neither of these actions is more noble than the other, but I’d be a liar if I didn’t acknowledge that as far as the public is concerned, this series has a good guy and a bad guy, a spirited babyface and a cowardly heel. And what’s more, the babyface was desperate for revenge, for the chance to finally lay his demons to rest. Each time it has been acquired so far over the last decade, 2018 and 2025, the Big Bad has stopped. In 2018 there was a fierce competition and a heart of thought; in 2025, it wasn’t even a fight, just like one side is grinding, but in a way it’s even sadder. The bad guy is trying to make the dog step on his way to three in a row. One way or another, this series will leave no one, neutral or not, indifferent.
