Packers’ Micah Parsons reportedly eyeing Week 12 return for Thanksgiving Eve game against Rams

Micheas Parsons, according to Nov. 25 back in the pocket Green Packers line, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The linebacker did not play after suffering a torn ACL in Week 15 of last season. In August, he said it was “very realistic” he could return in Week 6, but that date has come and gone and now Green Bay’s Thanksgiving Eve game against the Los Angeles Rams seems more likely.

“It’s just about me making sure I have all the little things fixed first,” Parsons said earlier this month on his “Edge” podcast. “What a lot of people don’t understand is that it’s not just the ACL. It’s, why did the ACL happen? What’s wrong? Because everything works together. It’s a chain. And in the whole history of the ACL, if you come back early, it tends to be compensation on the other side of the injury. … You just gotta do everything right before.”

There is a goal in the return with the Week 12 goal. Parsons is expected to return to practice this week and participate in individual drills. The following week the team will participate in drills, preventing a setback. The V-3 Packers have a bye in Week 11, allowing an extra week of recovery and work before Parsons could potentially return to the field.

Parsons, who was acquired by the Packers in August 2025 from the Dallas Cowboys, had 12.5 sacks, 41 total tackles and two forced fumbles over 14 games before suffering the injury.
