Boxing great Manny Pacquiao, 47, could be added to the Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua undercard – with former world champion Joe Cordina on terms as an opponent.
Fury and Joshua meet in a British heavyweight fight at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11.

Now promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed that negotiations for a mouth-watering fight on the undercard are at an advanced stage.
“We agreed to the conditions to face Pacquiao, but we don’t know if it will happen,” revealed Hearn in the middle of the event on Thursday.
“On our part, it is appropriate to do this.”
Fury-Joshua tickets go on sale in just one hour, and fight fans can now also see eight-weight world champion Pacquiao face former Welsh super-featherweight world champion Cordina.
Pacquiao is considered the best boxer of all time, and he was the first champion to fight 12 times in the UK.

The details of the other battles are eagerly anticipated and not yet released.
Pacquiao has not fought since July 2025, coming back from his second attempt at retirement.
But the Filipino icon would still draw for the huge television audience expected for the fight, which is broadcast globally by the giants Netflix.
But the emergence of Cardiff-born Cordina, 34, as an opponent will also provide a country flavor to the show.
A former IBF super-featherweight champion, Cordina was scheduled to face American Abduallah Mason for the WBO lightweight title in Cleveland in July when he was denied a US visa.

Cordina continued in the discipline trial for assault allegations, eventually being cleared of all charges.
That decision cleared the way for the Joshua-Fury bill, with Cordia eager to repeat his career, which would be a huge opportunity in his hometown.
This is the first time Pacquiao has faced a British opponent since beating Ricky Hatton in Las Vegas in 2009.
Pacquiao’s last fight was scheduled to take the welterweight title from Mario Barrios, four years after the IRCA retired from the spotlight in the country after several draws in the country.
He has a record of 62 wins from 73 fights and was previously scheduled to face undefeated Floyd Mayweather in September, but their 2015 rematch was postponed indefinitely in June.

Cordina previously fought on the undercard of Fury with Oleksandr Usyk, losing his IBF title to Antonio Cacace in Riyadh in May 2024.
It will represent the Olympian’s first fight in Cardiff since Rahimov regained the belt against Shavkat last year.
