Tiger Woods’ return to the Masters in 2027 will be one of the biggest in sports history.
But suddenly the possibility doesn’t sound so far-fetched.
Woods has not competed in a professional tournament since the 2024 Open Championship. Injuries, back surgeries and a difficult recovery have kept the biggest modern superstar writer from competing.

But new comments from fellow director Kevin Kisner reignited speculation about a potential regression.
Kisner Woods believes a return to competitive golf is possible, with the Masters in April 2027 emerging as a long-term goal.
For golf fans, this is enough to start dreaming.

The first major question is whether the Forests will compete before the end of 2016.
There are two events: the World Heroes Challenge, which will be held in the jungles of the Bahamas from December 3-6, and the PNC Championship, for December 19-20.
The PNC would provide a much-needed opportunity for him to traditionally play in the woods with his son Charlie.

Neither species should be considered confirmed. Woods has not officially committed to either tournament, and his health remains a deciding factor.
However, the possibility of seeing him compete again before the end of the year has football fans watching closely.
The Masters would be the last Comeback Season
If the woods can come back in December, the next question becomes how far it can go.
The Masters, taking place on April 8-11, 2027, would provide an iconic setting for another chapter in their career.
Augusta National is where Woods delivered some of the most memorable moments in golf history. His 2019 victory remains one of the game’s defining comebacks.

A return to that stage would generate enormous attention, even though Woods had the most favorable sponsorship.
But it is important to separate hope from certainty. Woods would need to show that his body can withstand a competitive ball, and it is not the same session as well as four rounds for a major completion.
