In this episode of the Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman recap everything that happened in the Wild Card, including the wild conclusion to the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves Game 2, where Bryce Harper atoned for his mistake on a dramatic home run. Alec Bohm also hit a leadoff homer that helped seal the deal for the series-deciding Game 3 on Thursday night.
Later in the show, Jake and Jordan attack the Yankees archrival Boston Red Sox in the Bronx, which sent the Bombers back to the ALDS to face off with their AL East rival Tampa Bay Rays. Then they get a bit of a showing from the Houston Astros, as they are eliminated by the Chicago White Sox, and to figure out where the Chicago Cubs are going from here after being ousted in two games by the San Diego Padres.
