Thursday’s Presidents Cup doubles, tee times: Scottie Scheffler-Sam Burns leads group opening four-ball match at Medinah

The President’s Cup 16 edition is here.

The classic match between the United States and the non-European International team kicks off on Thursday from Medinah Antipolis in Chicago. The Americans, who have dominated the event since its inception in the mid-1990s, are looking for an eleventh line to win this event. The first team wins at 15.5 points.

It will open Thursday with a series of five four ball, or “best ball” matches in Medinah. The Presidents Cup is extended over four days, instead of the three days that the Ryder Cup does every other year.

Team leaders Brandt Snedeker and Geoff Ogilvy were selected for the first event on Wednesday. Here’s everything you need to know to keep up with Medinah’s Thursday action.
