The UFC 333 weigh-ins took place early Friday morning, and one fighter was missing weight by a massive margin.
Women’s bantamweight boxer Nicolle Caliari stepped on the scale at 120.5 pounds, which is a full 4.5 pounds over the 116-pound non-title limit for the weight class, for the preliminary card preliminaries against Jasmin Lucindo, who weighed in at 115 pounds.

Fortunately, the fight still continues, but Caliari has been fined 30% of his fight purse, which goes to his opponent Lucinda.
UFC 333 Title Fight
In the main event of UFC 333, UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski took on Movsar Evloev to promote the 145-pound belt.
Volkanovski is coming off back-to-back decision wins over Diego Lopes, while Evloev is 20-0 in MMA and 10-0 in the UFC. Both men successfully made weight for the UFC 333 main event, with Volkanovski coming in at 144.5 pounds and Evloev at 145 pounds.
In the co-main event, we have UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan against Merab Dvalishvili in a trilogy fight after the two rivals went 1-1 in their first two bouts.

Yan is coming off a devastating decision win over Dvalishvili in their last encounter at UFC 323 in December 2025, which was also the last time we saw Dvalishvili step into the Octagon.
Yan and Dvalishvili both successfully made weight, with each weighing 135 pounds for UFC 333.
Aside from the aforementioned Caliari, everyone else made weight at UFC 333. We now have fourteen official fights listed for Saturday’s UFC event, which should be very exciting to watch.
