Ben Whittaker takes another step toward the world title Saturday against Conor Wallace in a light heavyweight showdown at the Utility Arena in Birmingham, England.
Whittaker (12-0-1, 9 KOs), the 2020 Olympic silver medalist, returns home with a highlight reel second-round knockout of Ricardo Rivera last June in Brooklyn. The 29-year-old has won three straight fights by knockout since his controversial first meeting with Liam Cameron in October 2024.

Saturday’s event represents the biggest test yet for Whittaker, who is ranked No. 3 by the IBF. Whittaker and Wallace clash in the final eliminator for the IBF light heavyweight title, which is currently held by the unified defender Dmitry Bivol.
Wallace (17-1, 12 KOs) enters as the IBF’s No. 2 is the light heavyweight favorite and is riding a 10-fight streak into his first professional appearance outside of Australia. The only career loss in the 30-year-old southpaw’s career came via major decision against Leti Leti in 2021, resulting in his revenge 19 months later.
