First baseman star Brandon Ingram recently committed to the Los Angeles Clippers, but he hasn’t played in a while, as he had an Achilles tear and a sprained heel.
There’s not a ton of information out there about his status, but our guess is, for what it’s worth, that it’s not as serious as what Jayson Tatum is going through with an Achilles injury.

However, the recovery time is estimated at 6-9 months, so there is no minor injury, and of course we do not know what the heel injury requires. And Ingelram is now 29. He’s not old by NBA standards, and his training and rehab methods are much better.
On the bright side, the surgery was done in May and the recovery is going well, so hopefully he will be available before too long.
