Conor Benn has called for a fight with Conor McGregor, saying he would face the star “any Saturday”.
Benn fought last September, suffering a second round knockout over Ryan Garcia in Las Vegas, and is now in search of another opponent.

His second career defeat came in the same city where McGregor suffered a knee injury in July, ending his first fight in five years after the one-minute mark.

The Irishman is still recovering from that injury, which led to a long-awaited rematch with icon Max Holloway, and has one fight left in his UFC contract.
However, McGregor, 38, is steadily making a comeback in boxing, with his only win in the sport – a 2017 stoppage by Floyd Mayweather – and Benn seems ready to capitalise.
“Every Saturday,” the 30-year-old wrote on Instagram, while sharing a fake poster of himself and McGregor.

While it is common sense that McGregor would be out of his UFC fight contract in order to fight in the box, Benn is signed to Zuffa Boxing, which is founded by UFC president Dana White and is signed by TKO, the UFC’s parent company.
Some fans thought this way, Albus could allow McGregor to box before signing his UFC deal, just because McGregor is doing it under the Zuffa banner. Alternatively, it’s possible that McGregor will join the Zuffa Box as soon as his UFC fight contract expires.
Benn signed with the controversial new boxing promotion in February, leaving his longtime promoter Eddie Hearn in an unexpected move that increased tensions between Hearn and White. Welterweight Zuffa committed to one fight, which was reportedly worth $15m, before signing a contract to challenge Garcia for the WBC belt.

McGregor, the UFC’s other two-weight champion, is expected to be out of action until next summer because of the knee injury. He sustained the injury – a torn ACL and meniscus – by attempting a running, jumping kick against Holloway.

The bout was McGregor’s first since 2021, when he suffered a broken leg in a first-round loss to Dustin Poirier.
McGregor has had numerous run-ins with the law in recent years, and in 2024 a civil jury found him guilty of sexual assault in 2018. McGregor denied all allegations against him, but his appeal against the verdict in 2025 failed.
