Dominic Reyes was made to leave the UFC press booth unscathed.
Reyes was among the many notable performances this past Saturday at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi. Another light heavyweight title challenger closed out the preliminary portion of the card with a first-round knockout of Azamat Murzakanov, winning him back in the series. After that they fought for hours, he sat down to observe her, and yet he was not too pleased to hear Daniel Cormier’s comment in particular.

On Monday’s edition of “The Ariel Helwani Show,” Reyes explained his social media lambasting of Cormier, which he said was in response to these comments thrown out during his Murzakanov fight.
“You have a tendency to be a little bit double-edged,” Reyes told Uncrowner of Cormier. “You look at all the other sports in the world – the most professional.” [commentary]most ready and prepared. The comment is color. He’s not just talking about meat pies in battle.
“The whole thing is holding me accountable. The only people in the entire UFC who should never be held accountable are the announcers. So it’s time.”
Reyes, 36, has not necessarily been fixating on his dissatisfaction with the UFC’s commentary, he said. However, he bit his tongue after noticing these issues for years.

In a recent fight, in particular, Reyes couldn’t help but speak up after the culmination of mistakes he believes were made sporadically.
“I’ve been watching fights my whole life, and I’ve heard them say some strange things, and I’m like, ‘Am I going to go with that?’ No one in that check? ” Reyes said. “But we do something in the cage, or something happens, and everyone talks about it and writes about it. I’m like, hey, why don’t we put it back in the middle, again, that’s a great comment that you’re doing. It’s not just good.”
Cormier responded to Reyes’ arms with a few follow-up messages on Saturday. The UFC Hall of Famer defended himself and later clarified what he believes was the issue in the tweet, but Reyes noted that Cormier was only partially correct when he mentioned the package released by Paramount.
Coincidentally, Cormier spent most of his career at 205 pounds, while Reyes was a mainstay of the division. So a fight would be the easiest solution to this beef if Cormier was still acting. But Reyes made it clear that he has no personal problem with Cormier. He just wants to see that people can deliver the best quality in their role.

“I don’t have a problem with him; I just want him to do better. The only line: Do better,” Reyes said.
“I’m not crazy and crazy. It’s, hey, we need to do better. Super. This is right now. Not directly to you. Everyone in the booth needs to notice now that we need to show, and do research and be ready to go, because if it’s not, Dom’s YouTube channel is there, and I need to shout at you.”
Cormer’s comments to Reyes are few. First, being considered one of the game’s all-time greats gives Cormier an easy excuse to be lazy with his equipment, Reyes believes. Additionally, Cormier has a notable training history with some of the sport’s best Russian and Dagestani fighters, such as Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev. Because of this, Reyes sees what he believes is a clear interest from Cormier whenever the Russian fighters compete and he is on the call.
“[Cormier] He was a great fighter, and I’m not saying he’s not a great fighter,” Reyes said. It seems that Daniel Cormier, the two-time champ, doesn’t do research and work.

“It’s been years and years in the light [toward Russian fighters].
For some time, the process of deception from the victory and his back with Cormier, Reyes admitted that he is somewhat on the line.
I’ll say I went a little hard on Daniel, and I’m sorry for calling him low IQ and stuff like that,” Reyes said. “I was in the heat of the moment, and I apologize for that. I stand by the rest of what I said, but I’m sorry to attack you directly. Really
“My initial heat was a little hot. It’s not my character or who I really am. I was just in the moment. Other than that, I stand by what I said. You’re ready, my little guy.”
Reyes intends to continue calling out the issues he sees with videos on his YouTube channel. In the meantime, he will work to fight his way to a shot at the light heavyweight title.
