Demetrious Johnson is not the biggest fan of Movsar Evloev’s fighting style.
Evloev (20-0 MMA, 10-0 UFC) challenges featherweight Alexander Volkanovski (28-4 MMA, 15-3 UFC) in the main event of UFC 333 on Oct. 24. from the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi (Paramount+).

Before signing with the UFC, Evloev finished seven of his 10 professional fights. But when then all the octogenarians beat 10, they came through the plan. UFC flyweight champion Johnson wonders how Michael Page was fired from the UFC for his actions but not Evloev.
“Hey, something just occurred to me: you say you’re undefeated, 20-0, nothing ends. How the f*ck is he still in the UFC?” Johnson said on his “Precision Podcast.” “I like, they just cut the MVP. But you think, the UFC is so gung-ho, that they cut people who don’t wake up, they don’t knock out knockouts, and it’s like, he just removed the MVP, you know.”
“He doesn’t knock people out, but he does some meaty stuff in there. Movsar Evloev knows how to win, but that’s what comes to mind when you say he’s undefeated with no knocks. I’m like, how the f*ck is he still here? Not even a submission? F*ck!”
Volkanovski acknowledged that Evloev’s long road to a UFC title shot is likely due to a lack of finishes. And later in the village they say they feel bad for how the UFC and the fans are treating the opponent.
