UFC bantamweight fighter Farid Basharat has suggested that a sloppy promotional product should be cultivated these days.
Despite a perfect 16-0 MMA record, including an undefeated record of 7-0 in the UFC alone, Basharat was released by the UFC as the winning promotion decided to give him a new contract.

One of the reasons he didn’t have a priority to bring back was probably because of his lack of finishing power, which Basharat has six decision wins among his seven UFC victories. However, he was the top 15-ranked fighter in his weight class, so it’s odd that he’s going to the UFC when they have the best fighters in the world.
Farid Basharat reveals UFC Release Theory
Speaking in a video posted to his YouTube channel, Basharat shared his theory on why the UFC cut him, as he believes the promotion is looking for low-level entertainment, bloody fights, but not necessarily competitive fights featuring the best fighters in the world.
“I think that the UFC company will build a base ball that does not fight well. Even if it is a mismatch, even if it is a serious fight, as long as there is blood, as long as it is the first round of the goal, we are happy. And, as I think, you can’t make a joke because it is a sport, well for two years, but to do better for two years, but it will be left to the evaluation and to the fans what kind of fight is failing. When I see the best against the best, for me, that’s what entertainment. Basharat said.
Looking at Farid Basharat in Options
Despite being released by the UFC, Basharat may find a home with another organization in short order, since not many 16-0 bantamweights grow on trees.

PFL/MVP MMA has employed his brother Javid Basharat as an option, as well as UAE Warriors in the Middle East or perhaps Oktagon MMA in Europe.
