GCU Men’s Basketball continues to put its name on the national list, announcing via social media on Tuesday morning that the program has recently received commentary on twenty national TV broadcasts.
After setting the program with 13 national TV appearances last year, Lopes is hitting that mark with 20 total broadcasts this season. GCU also leads the Mountain West Conference with 17 games aired on national television. New Mexico trails closely behind with 16, making the Lopes and Lobos two of only five Mountain West basketball programs with double-digit showings on the national stage.

The Lopes make their national television debut on the CBS Sports Network in the Season Series in Palm Desert, California, against St. Louis on November 24th and either Stanford or Colorado on November 25th. Later on the non-conference schedule, it’s off to Jacksonville on Dec. 18 to battle the Florida Gators—a preseason potential No. 1 team before hearing from ESPNU.
GCU Men’s Basketball officially ends its home season on October 27th with an exhibition match against the Western University of New Mexico Mustangs.
