Dana White and Eddie Hearn still can’t seem to see eye to eye when it comes to the upcoming December Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua boxing match.
White was in Salt Lake City on Saturday for UFC 332, where Natalia Silva was crowned as the new UFC women’s flyweight champion. Earlier in the day, Matchroom’s Hearn spoke at a press conference in Birmingham following Ben Whittaker’s IBF final eliminator win over Conor Wallace, and addressed White’s latest claims that he would still promote and produce the Fury vs. Joshua’s fight was broadcast for Netflix.

Hearn’s comments came one day after a post went viral with a video of White offering various confusing and contradictory answers about the ordeal.
“To be honest with you, at this point, I think he’s just completely cooked,” Audi said Saturday of the UFC boss. “He also said, ‘We’re doing TV production,’ which again is prohibited in the contract.”
“I’m not going to drop that [compilation] I see by the way what I was thinking, you know what? I will leave this now.’ “I really started to feel bad for him,” Hearn added. Then I woke up [White’s defiant response] and I thought to see you fall so far. After I saw that, I spoke to Sela and said, “You saw it.” [White’s comments]?’ But they said: Yes, it is, and it is true. They told me by writing. He can’t do that out of a stipulation.”
Unsurprisingly, White continued to double down when asked about Hearn’s latest right in the UFC 332 post-fight press conference.

Although at the missile defense conference on Wednesday at Fury vs. Joshua, who was claimed by White, due to his obligation to stop the UFC Contender Series on Tuesday, reiterated that he will be served in Cardiff on December 11 and the fight will work.
“I am here,” insisted Brutus. “We’re producing the show. Like Canelo.” [Alvarez vs. Terence] Crawford [in September 2025]the same Craig Borsari, Zach [Candito]my whole team – we will put on a show. I’ll have my phone bill on the table, like tonight and every other night, and every other show that I eat.”
The promoter’s push for a fight between Alba and Hearn through 2026 has increased Alba’s involvement with Zuffa Boxing and the ongoing TKO feud over Joshua’s Fury vs. Although he received countless insults from the media, Hearn began to be impressed by White’s insistence in his role in Fury vs. Joshua
“I’ve got to really admire him,” said Hearn, “because rather than going, ‘Listen, it’s a beautiful game.’ Actually, there are not many, but it turns out, no; And don’t give up soon. So I have enough to observe and admire, because the front is incredible. But they want to meet in LA next week, which will probably happen.

“He might clear the air. He might say, ‘What are we going to do?’ Are we going to do this?’ Finally, I don’t mean to sound arrogant. [White] I cannot take part in the battle, unless I allow myself and Antony to be. And they seem to be most desperate in the fight, and the Turks [Alalshikh] He wants them to be involved in a fight, and to do Netflix. And I come, like, it’s great for promotion. So I’m not against it – I just want you to say it and explain why. What shall I report? What is in Antonio? What is in it for us? Once we decide, we can make a decision.”
As for Alba, that tentative meeting in Los Angeles with Hearn was reported to the UFC boss, who nevertheless persisted in his request.
“I didn’t hear anything about the meetings last week,” said White. “Among whom? What did he meet me about? I answered all of this question. It is the same as it has been since we have been talking about this for a long time.”
“I don’t hear anything until you guys tell me in press conferences. I don’t care.” [who did the deal]. I will be there. That’s why. I promote it. I will see you in Wales.”
