Look! Natalia Silva returns home to the Champion’s field…But no one shows up

Natalia Silva pushed her UFC win streak to nine en route to capturing the vacant UFC women’s flyweight title last weekend UFC 332 in Salt Lake City, Utah, but this still wasn’t enough to bring fans to the national championship parade.

Many fight fans hated UFC 332’s card before it actually took place, but the promotion’s return to Utah provided one of the weakest fight collections this year. To put it that way all-time UFC record with 11 total knockouts. Unfortunately for Silva, he was not a part of that historic event after five tough rounds with Wang Cong in the main event failure (results HERE).

While Silva did what he needed to do to get more rounds than Cong and walk away with the UFC title around his waist, fight fans are still struggling to see him as the true contender of the division. That’s what the former UFC flyweight queen and legend, Valentina Shevchenko, he would let her in by title for injury In fact, it has been handed down UFC officials forced Shevchenko to give up his title because he needs a bullet to fight UFC 332. Most of the “Bullet” is still the best in the class.

Unfortunately for Silva, fans have seen his skills still not paying attention to his success inside the Octagon. The newly signed UFC women’s flyweight champion returned home this week and was hoping for a parade in front of her. Sadly, no one showed up to celebrate his victory, leaving Silva in the back of the cart to drive down the empty road.
