Manchester City have been fined for breaching all but one of the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play rules following a verdict by an independent panel, according to Athletic. The Manchester club have been accused of breaching 114 of 115 of the Premier League’s FFP regulations, but official sanctions are yet to be determined.
However, it is set to prove his innocence, and the formal process around the split is ongoing. The guilty verdict comes after an investigation revealed the split between 2009 and 2018. During that time the man won three Premier League titles. But it remains to be seen whether the Mancunian club has been robbed of any silverware once the decision has been reached.
