KAS Stables is several steps away from winner Bishop Bay in the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) following a decisive victory in Saturday’s Ack Ack (G3) at Churchill Downs.

Bishop Bay, a 6-year-old son of Uncle Mo, earned a 99 Brisnet Speed Rating for a head victory in the Ack Ack over Coal Battle in the one-mile Ack Ack.
Trained by Brad Cox, Bishop Bay won 11 of 18 starts, including six graded wins, earning $2,875,080.

Other notable Brisnet Speed Ratings on Saturday’s card were 105 from Dragoon Guards in the Lukas Classic (G2), 101 from Plutarch in the Bourbon Flight and 87 from Staunch in the 7½-furlong maiden special weight for 2-year-olds.
