On Sunday, he will host Barcelona Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou which is expected to be one of the most exciting moments of the season. On top of that, Sunday’s game will mark the return of Jose Mourinho to the stadium where he fought some incredible battles against Barcelona from 2010 to 2013, when he first coached Real Madrid. The reception is expected to be heated, especially as it happens in the next few weeks.
Real Madrid striker Vinicius Jr. He will miss El Clasico against FC Barcelona after being suspended for four games for receiving a red card in Real Madrid’s home game against Villarreal at the Bernabeu last week. Despite the appeal, Vinicius Jr. he will not be playing and will be back playing for Blancos after the international break in the domestic league.
Let us take a closer look at both factions and compare our strengths to determine which side has the upper hand;
Goalkeepers
Let’s start with the goalkeepers, and here Theobald Courtois However, he is probably the best in his role and can directly reach from what he has achieved. Against John Garcia, he has some room for expansion, and is in a different stage of his life, with plenty of potential to develop more. Although Courtois is nine years older than Garcia, he has delivered a somewhat unfair comparison to his developmental stages; The Real Madrid goalkeeper still has the edge now in terms of experience, consistency and overall quality. At least when it fits.
Barcelona: Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczęsny, Dominik Livakovic.
Real Madrid: Theobald Courtois, Andriy Lunin; Francisco Gonzalez.

Defence
Things get more complicated when it comes to defensive lines. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have strong lines in these roles, but they also concede a lot of goals. New Real Madrid signings Denzel Dumfries, Marcus Cucurella or * Ibrahim Konate they will still show their full potential, while Barcelona’s young defenders like Pau Cubarsi, Eric Garcia or Xavi Espart show that they are in better form.

Midfield
Some incredibly talented players on both sides, as usual. Barcelona signed Rodri in the summer after the Spanish captain refused to join Real Madrid before signing for the Blaugrana. Apart from this, the players in the squad led by Jose Mourinho are nothing short of incredible; Judas Bellingham, Frederick Valverde, Arda Guler, Aurelien Tchouameni and Bernard Silvawho is a free agent in the summer. Despite the quality of Barcelona’s midfielders, Real Madrid look much stronger in this area.

Forward
And especially who. It is almost impossible to choose between Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe; Yan DiomedeRaphinha, Anthony Gordon and more. But there is a big difference before Sunday’s game: the absence of Vinicius Jr., who will receive El Clasico after a four-game ban. Even if it doesn’t have the best start of the season, it’s important without it. That is why I am going to Barcelona at this time.

Some
This argument is one of the most difficult calls to make, because both are considered among the best managers around the world. While Jose Mourinho has shaped the game for the last two decades, Hansi Flick is doing just that. Having won two LaLiga titles in his first two years at Barcelona, Flick must now win abroad as he did before Bayern Munich. Mourinho has been recalled by Real Madrid owner Florentino Perez to restore Real Madrid’s leadership in Spain, but it will not be easy against Flick and Barcelona.
