UFC Vegas 123 weigh-in event: One fighter badly misses weight for the Halloween card

One fighter dropped weight Friday morning at the UFC Vegas 123 official weigh-in, as Francis Marshall tipped the scales at 148 pounds for his undercard bout against Dakota Hope — two pounds over the featherweight non-title limit.

As a result, Marshall will lose 20% of his sack prospect and their headliner press will be moved during the draft.

Marshall’s mission was the only spot on Friday in Las Vegas — all 23 other fighters hit the required weights on their schedules, including main events Renato Moicano (156) and Tom Nolan (155.5), both of whom showed their marks in the five-round weight class.
