Jose Aldo is down with the UFC cutting out hateful fighters who do nothing but wrestle.
Straight from the mouth of that thinner former champion, who revealed that he is not a fan of UFC 333 headliner Movsar Evloev. Evloev will try to take the 145-pound belt from Alexander Volkanovski in Abu Dhabi. If Aldo had been in charge, Evloev would not have stood a chance.

“The UFC is not just an organization that just has to follow the rules,” Aldo told MMA Fighting. “It’s a business. It’s a hobby. It’s not a matter, I’m a number to fight for a title.’ No way.”
“Evloev is ranked No.1 in the division, if I’m not mistaken,” he continued. “And if I were the president, I would never put him there. He could beat everyone. I would expect him to lose first and then cut him off because he is a man who does not sell, a man who puts on boring fights, a man who does not warn, just rests.”
The big legal debate right now surrounding the UFC’s decision is not to re-sign certain fighters who ‘put on hateful fights’. There Muhammad Mokaev, Michael “Venom” Page, and most recently Farid Basharat. We’re not surprised that some fans think the UFC is the right way to run the dull prayers of the layman, but legendary fighters like Jose Aldo think so too?

Perhaps it shouldn’t be too surprising. Aldo retired after getting a boring decision by a machine named Alexander Volkanovski, then suffered a bantamweight title eliminator loss to another decision by a boring “machine” named Merab Dvalishvili. If anyone knows how to ‘beat’ all these wrestlers, it’s Aldo.
